Race Information
General Information
The Loveland Sprint Tri Event has the same beautiful venue as the Lake to Lake Triathlon! The transition area and lake are adjacent to Loveland High School and North Lake Park. The Sprint Tri participants will have a separate swim course.
The Sprint will begin at 7:20 am. You will share the transition area with the participants of the Lake to Lake Tri, there will be a section RESERVED for the Sprint Tri participants. Packet pickup begins at 5:15 am, transition area opens at 5:15 am, and the sprint participants must be at the race venue by 6:30 am at the latest.
Post-race meal will begin for the Sprint Triathletes at 9:30 am. Awards will begin at approximately 9:30 am. We hope you’ll stick around and enjoy some post-race food! We challenge you to find a Sprint Event with as delicious of a post-race meal as we provide!
NOTE: Transfers from Lake to Lake Triathlon to the Sprint Tri will be allowed online until June 21, 2020 — email Peggy — then the transfer must be made at packet pickup.

Registration opens on December 15th @ 6am.
No Race Day registration. Online registration closes Wednesday at midnight. After that you must come to packet pickup on Friday from 2:30-6:00 to register. Pre-race meeting will be at 4:00 at packet pickup.

Can Not duplicate with age group awards

Age group awards top three male and female.
We will have age group categories for youth — 15 and under, 16-17, 18-19, then 20-24, 25-29 etc.
3. Clydesdale/Athena
Clydesdale: 220+ lbs.
Athena: 165+ lbs.

4. SUP - Stand Up Paddle Board Category
You asked — we responded! This category will be for the SPRINT event only. You will have your own swim course (sprint distance) and you will leave in the first wave of the Sprint event. You must provide your own SUP, and L2L volunteer staff will insure that your board is retrieved and carried back near the transition area.
Details to follow — but L2L staff will make it as convenient as possible for you to get your board to the swim start race day morning.

Extra Meal Tickets can be purchased for $10.50 each. Great breakfast buffet!! All registrants receive one meal ticket.
Volunteers – All events need numerous volunteers to run a safe and organized event. Some local youth organizations will be benefiting from this event and helping run the race, but there is always need for more volunteers! If you would like to volunteer and enjoy a free lunch and T-shirt, email Peggy Shockley.
