General Information

This event provides a beautiful venue. The transition area and lake are near North Lake Park. North Lake Park is a nice setting for competitors and families. It has a children’s train that operates throughout the day and is adjacent to Benson Sculpture Park, which is the site of Loveland’s annual Sculpture in the Park each August.

Post Race Meal and Awards

Participants are encouraged to hang out after the race and enjoy a post-race meal and awards. We will also have some raffle giveaways.

If you are unable to stay to receive your award, it can be mailed to you for $5.00. Contact the Race Director after the event.

Registration

Your registration includes a short-sleeved event shirt and post-race meal. Additional meal tickets can be purchased for $10.50 with your online registration fee or on race day. (purchase with registration preferred to ensure we have enough food). Meal tickets for non-participants will be $12.00 on race day.

You MAY OPT to purchase a long-sleeve shirt with your registration, INSTEAD of the short-sleeve shirt for an additional $6.00. Both short- and long-sleeve shirts will be available in UNI or Female sizing. Short sleeve cotton/poly blend. Long-sleeve is a performance blend fabric. Event shirts are ordered the first part of June~ if you register after June 10th, you may opt out of the shirt or pay $5.00 to ensure size and mailing.

*Online registration closes Wednesday at midnight. After that you must come to packet pickup on Friday from 2:30-6:00 to register. Pre- race meeting for all athletes will be held at 4:00pm at packet pickup.

Categories & Awards

1. Pro/Elites and Overall Male & Female

Normally separate categories, these are now combined. Pro and Elite Athletes are eligible for OVERALL TOP 6 MALE AND FEMALE AWARDS. There will be no distinction between Pros/Elites and Overall winners.

1st place: $200 | 2nd place: $100 | 3rd place: $50

1st-6th place will be awarded podium finishes.

2. AGE GROUP CATEGORY Male and Female

Top 3 podium finish- Female and Male

15& under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29…etc.

Age groupers placing top 6 overall will not duplicate with individual age group category

3. CLYDESDALE (220 lbs+) and ATHENAS (165 lBs+)

*Can NOT duplicate with age group awards

1st-3rd place OVERALL

4. RELAYS

1st-3rd: COED
1st-3rd: All Female
1st-3rd: All Male

Register to Race

Extra Meal Tickets can be purchased for $10.50 each ($5.00 for 6 and under), and this is REAL FOOD folks. Extra meal tickets can be purchased on race day or when you register. Athletes meal is included in the race entry fee.

Volunteers – All events need numerous volunteers to run a safe and organized event. Some local youth organizations will be benefiting from this event and helping run the race, but there is always need for more volunteers! If you would like to volunteer and enjoy a free lunch and T-shirt, email Peggy Shockley.
